Support
Write to support@glucoconvert.app and a human replies, usually within two working days. Include your iOS version and what you were doing when the problem appeared — it saves a round trip.
If a glucose reading looks dangerous or you feel unwell, follow your treatment plan and contact your healthcare provider or emergency services. GlucoConvert is an informational tool, not a medical device, and we cannot advise on readings.
Common questions
How does the free trial work?
You get 7 days of full access from first launch. No payment method is needed and nothing is charged. The trial does not renew — when it ends, a subscription is required to keep using the app.
What does the subscription cost, and how do I cancel?
€15 per year (or the equivalent Apple sets for your storefront), renewing automatically each year unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. To cancel, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone, select GlucoConvert and tap Cancel. Cancelling stops future renewals and leaves your access running until the end of the paid period. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
I paid but the app still asks me to subscribe.
Open the Account tab and tap Restore Purchases, making sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you bought with. If it still does not unlock, check Settings → your name → Subscriptions to confirm the subscription is active, then email us with the date of purchase.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are issued by Apple, not by us — we are not the merchant of record. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If the reason is a bug, write to us first: fixing it is usually faster.
Where is my data stored? Can you see it?
On your iPhone, and no. There is no account, no server of ours and no analytics. If you enable iCloud sync, the data goes to your own private iCloud container, which we also cannot access. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
I switched phones and my log is gone.
The log lives on the device unless iCloud sync was enabled before the switch. With sync on, sign into the same Apple Account on the new phone and the entries reappear. Without it, the data was local only and cannot be recovered by us — which is why the CSV export exists. Turn sync on in the Account tab.
Reminders are not arriving.
Check that notifications are allowed in Settings → GlucoConvert → Notifications, and that a Focus mode or Low Power Mode is not suppressing them. Reminders are scheduled locally by iOS; they will not fire while the device is powered off. Do not rely on them as a safety-critical alarm.
How do I send my log to my doctor?
Open the Account tab or the History screen and choose Export. Pick CSV for a spreadsheet or Text for something readable in an email, then use the iOS share sheet to mail, save or print it. The file contains your health data in plain text, so send it only to people you intend to.
Which conversion factor do you use?
18.0182. mmol/L = mg/dL ÷ 18.0182, and mg/dL = mmol/L × 18.0182. mmol/L results are shown to one decimal place and mg/dL as whole numbers, so displayed values may differ marginally from your meter.
What do the colours mean?
They follow the ADA/EASD Time-in-Range reference bands: green for 70–180 mg/dL (3.9–10.0 mmol/L), orange up to 250 mg/dL (13.9 mmol/L), red below 70 or above 250. These are general population references, not your personal targets — those are set by your doctor and may be quite different.
Which languages and devices are supported?
The interface is available in English, Arabic (right-to-left), Russian and French, and follows your system language. GlucoConvert is an iPhone app and supports Dynamic Type, light and dark appearance.
How do I delete a reading, or everything?
To remove a single entry: press and hold it in the History list and choose Delete, or tap it to open the details and use Delete at the bottom. To remove everything, delete the app from your iPhone. If iCloud sync was on, also remove the app's data in Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage. Deleting data does not cancel a subscription — do that separately.
